appointed Mir. R. H. Kotewall, C.M.G., LL.D., provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure to be temporarily an

unofficial member of the Executive Council in the place of

the Honourable Sir Shou-son Chow, Kt., who is temporarily

absent from the Colony.

Mr. Kotewall is an unofficial member of the

Legislative Council.
